Birthdays, progression and thanks….

Hello!!! I just want to start by saying, THANK YOU all SO MUCH for the Birthday wishes!!! It´s been the best so far!!! Thank you all so much, and I´m sorry if I don´t respond!!! I love you all!!!

It´s been a hot, long week, but a great one:)

One of our investigators is progressing SO FAST. She´s already been to church twice, and always asks for reading assignments in the Book of Mormon. She says she knows the Book of Mormon is true, and that it always brings her such peace when she reads it. She asked us the other day how she can pay TITHING!!! We haven´t even taught her about tithing yet, and she already wants to pay it!!! Who does that?!?! She´s remarkable. Her baptismal date is set for the 28th of this month, but it might even be sooner than that based on her progress!!!

Tonight we´re watching the Restoration video with our investigating family, and we´re gonna have a cake:)
It´s been a wonderful birthday!!! Nothing is like having a bday in the mission!!! Thank you all for everything!!! Love you!!

Con amor,
Hermana Edwards

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HERMANA EDWARDS!!!

Families ARE Forever...

This week was a week of miracles. We have many progressing investigators and we´re excited to see how everything turns out!!! Heavenly Father has been blessing us so much, we have so many investigators that have such potential! We can´t even keep track of all of them!!!

This past hour has caused me to think a lot. I just learned of the passing of my sweet young women´s president, Sister Michelle West. The tears won´t stop. My heart goes out to her family. I love you all. She is an amazing woman. I have never, and likely will never see a person smile more than she did. She filled the lives of everyone she ever knew with such light and joy!! I will forever live with the impact that she made on me, and will carry it with me for the rest of eternity. As a missionary, I feel very much more spiritually sensitive than I did before. Every day the Plan of Salvation becomes more and more clear to me. And even more so with the passing of my Papa John, and now with dear Michelle West. I could never say before, with such conviction, as I can now, that families ARE forever. Sister West is still here, walking with her family, guiding souls on the other side into the correct path with her light. As 2 Timothy 4:7 says "she has fought a good fight, she has finished her course, she has kept the faith" and will continue doing so for eternity.  Time passes so fast. And soon we´ll all be reunited as one eternal family. How wonderful is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ??? He knows all of our concerns, pains and losses. No one understands better than He does, the Son of our wonderful Heavenly Father. Families are forever.

I love you.
